All is quiet in my house. My oldest two have left with DH to go see Gnomeo & Juliet. It is just Baby Savvy and I. She is enjoying herself running silly back and forth from the wall to the couch. I love that! This is the age where they take great pride in doing something over and over. We rarely get time alone. Right now, she is pretending to change the channel with the remote. It’s funny how even a 1 year old knows the power of the remote. Oh, and of course, she has just discovered the power of dancing with a show. I love when they bop up and down and smile. She’s got rhythm!
Everybody needs some quality time. My two oldest Savvies need time with their dad and I need some special time with the baby. It is almost time for a bottle. I think this time I might give it to her in my bed and we can take a little snooze together. It’s that kind of day. The kind of day to be warm and snuggly under the covers with the ones you love. Before we know it, we will be back to our regular party of 5. But for right now, it is just she and I!
Do you do something special with your youngest when the others are out?
So far we just have the one, but I need to find more special time with hubby!
