Megan received complementary tickets to visit the Liberty Science Center during the Sesame Street Presents: The Body Exhibit.
Jersey Moms Media organized a fantastic event for families at the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey. After a delicious lunch and a special visit with Elmo, the kids at the event were invited to join a hands-on science lab where they learned about blood cells.
Then we were escorted to the brand new Sesame Street Presents: The Body Exhibit.
My 6-year-old and 3-year-old loved seeing their favorite Sesame Street characters in sets that looked like they fit right in on Sesame Street. The kids learned lots of interesting scientific info about how the body works just while playing with the many hands-on displays.
Beyond the Sesame Street exhibit, the Liberty Science Center includes seemingly endless opportunities for fun learning experiences. There are animal exhibits, honey bee hives, a sensory deprivation tunnel, and IMAX movies, just to name a few exciting activities. We had a hard time dragging the kids out at the end of the day, and still had more left to see on a future trip.
My son’s favorite activity was the new and permanent Infinity Climber, the best suspended maze we’ve ever seen. It a multi-story suspended play space reaching 35 feet above the atrium floor.
Sesame Street Presents: The Body Exhibit is a traveling exhibit and it’s only at the Liberty Science Center until May 3rd, so start planning your trip. It’s definitely worth catching!
We have a FLASH GIVEAWAY for one lucky reader. A Family 4 Pack of Tickets to the Liberty Science Center! Ends this Friday night!
