I recently attended a RoC brand #Eyes4NYC Event at Duane Reade in NYC. It was such an informative experience and made me aware that the time has definitely come to start adding Retinol to my daily regimen.
I have always been told that I have a young face. Next year, I have a big birthday coming up and as nice as it is to be complimented, I know my smiles and laughter have created happy wrinkles on my face. So, if I want to still be told that I look young, the day has come to do something about it and start using eye cream and anti-aging products.
While at the event, we had the opportunity to Walk the Aisle with dermatologist Dr. Debra Jaliman and Johnson & Johnson Research & Development Senior Director, Anna Prilutsky. The information that was most important to me was START USING A RETINOL NOW. It is a simple inexpensive way to look younger. Who could argue with that idea?
Retinol helps exfoliate your skin too. While in Duane Reade, I came across MAX Resurfacing Facial Cleanser. I am definitely picking this up the next time I head to Duane Reade.
Have you started using a ant-aging product with retinol? Wondering what you should start with? There are so many ant-aging wrinkle reducing products in the stores that it can be challenging trying to figure out what is best for your skin.
Dr. Jaliman recommended it would be best to start with RoC brand Sensitive Skin. Starting slowly is also a key factor to not irritating your skin. You can use products with retinol every other day at first and gradually increase use.
My welcome package from RoC included the products below and I started out using the Retinol Correxion Sensitive Eye Cream.
Now that I have been using RoC products, my favorite is Multi Correxion 5 in 1 Eye Cream. Although sleep is the best, there are times when this busy mom doesn’t get enough of it. I like how this product is multi-purpose and improves the look of dark circles, puffiness, dryness, dull tone and wrinkles all in one. YES!
Thank you to Dr. Jaliman for sharing her Skin Rules: Trade Secrets from a Top New York Dermatologist and thank you to Anna Prilutsky for explaining the differences between the RoC brand products.
