Give the Gift of Memories: Target has YesVideo Gift Cards

by Kerri on September 20, 2013

This is a sponsored post on behalf of YesVideo.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My parents have so many videotapes of us growing up.  My brother’s sports games, family events and vacations are pretty much on VHS.  This holiday season I think it is time to tranfer some of them.  This season Target will be selling Target/ YesVideo cards so that you can give the gift of preserving memories.
The new Target gift cards will make the perfect gift during the holiday season.  Know a friend that has VHS tapes collecting dust on her living room shelf?  Does your family member have boxes of reels and video tapes cluttering their closets with footage that hasn’t been seen in years?  Preserve your memories before they fade away, literally!

Target/YesVideo Gift Cards are good for $30 credit towards videotape or movie film transfers with YesVideo and Target

  • They are only available for purchase within a Target store, not online.

  • The gift cards are for transferring home media to the cloud, digitizing it online.  Once the home movies have been transferred online the customer may order a DVD which will become available to purchase after the transfer is complete. The gift card is not for a DVD, it’s for the transfer.

  • Customers will receive their digitized videos in a private online account, where they are able to share publicly if they wish via social networks or secure emails with password to access the videos to keep private.

  • Videotape formats: VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, 8mm videotape, Hi-8, Digital 8, MiniDV, BetaMax
  • Movie film formats: 8mm, Super 8, 16mm

  • All original materials will be returned.  Movie film will be cleaned, spliced and returned on new reels.

  • Gift Cards are NOT good for slides/prints transfers – videos only

This is just one way to give the gift of memories.  Although you purchase the gift card at Target, you will still go to the http://targetphoto.yesvideo.com site to redeem your gift card.  You are not able to redeem in the store.  You can also continue to order from the YesVideo site.

Where can I find these at Target? The electronics department, or up front with the other gift cards?

The Target/YesVideo gift cards should be near the photo center. Let us know if we can help in any other way.
