Thank you to NY Metro Parents for tickets to see Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark. No other compensation was received. All thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
Spider-Man Turn off the Dark is a Broadway show like you have never seen before!
Last week, my oldest (age 9) and I had a special date in the city, just the two of us. Dinner and Spider-Man Turn off The Dark were on the agenda. This was not her first Broadway show. Last year, we went to see Annie and Elf the Musical.
The story of Peter Parker is a familiar one to me. My brother was a fan. My husband is a fan. And now, may daughter and I are fans of this Broadway hit.
I loved watching her watch the show. You could tell she was in awe of the stunts. I was intrigued with how poised Arachni looked while singing high above the stage. Elegant and beautiful.
Her favorite scene was the moment that the Goblin and Spider-Man were over our heads in the audience. She thought that was the coolest ever! And, I would agree! I never expected the characters to be right over our heads flying through the audience. Just amazing!
And, as a U2 fan for many many years, Bono and The Edge’s music along with the classic Spider-Man story was awesome. I even chuckled when the Goblin is put on hold to one of my U2 favorites.
